Grammarly Can Slightly Change Your Article’s A.I. Content Score
By a small amount, but it’s still there.
Did you know that because Grammarly is an A.I. grammar-checker tool, when you use it for rewrites or changes to your text, it can actually increase the A.I. score of your article?
As a professional editor, I test a lot of articles for a high amount of A.I.-written content. My clients use a few different checkers and ask me to use them when editing writers’ submissions.
While working, I decided to test how Grammarly affects a written piece's A.I. score. I was surprised to notice that, although small, there are some changes in the A.I. score after Grammarly is used!
Note: most A.I. content checkers are NOT foolproof and often will mistake technical or scientific writing as A.I. just because it lacks grammatical mistakes, creative choices, or personal flair. So, even if you’ve never used A.I. in your life, your writing can still get flagged. Don’t get discouraged, though! Many editors know this and won’t penalize you for it.
