If you are just getting started or want to start freelance writing, I'd highly recommend doing some research - especially on the kind of writer you want to be. Over time I shifted from copywriter, reviewer, and ad-copy writer, and decided that I preferred to be an editor. How you will work, and who you will work with, might be impacted by AI, so staying on top of news is going to be really important! Other than that, I say give it a try anyway! It's a really rewarding job when you get on your feet 🤩
